Meet Optometrist Dr. Belinda R. Starkey
Dr. Belinda R. Starkey, O.D., is a dedicated optometrist at Parenti-Morris Eyecare, where she combines her passion for compassionate patient care with advanced optometric practices. Inspired by an early fascination with vision science, Dr. Starkey is committed to delivering individualized care that helps patients achieve their best eye health and vision.
Experience
Dr. Starkey’s journey into optometry began in her hometown of Mountain Home, Arkansas. After graduating from Norfork High School, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Arkansas. She went on to pursue her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where her academic excellence and commitment to eye care took root.
Since joining Parenti-Morris Eyecare, Dr. Starkey has made a lasting impact on both her patients and her professional community. She is a past president of the Arkansas Optometric Association and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the American Optometric Association. Her career reflects a dedication to leadership, service, and continuous advancement in optometric care.

Dr. Starkey resides in Rogers, Arkansas, with her husband, Clay, and their dog, Jett. A creative spirit, she enjoys painting and drawing in her spare time. Dr. Starkey’s profession is also her passion, as she dedicates time to volunteer work within the optometric field. She brings the same compassion and dedication to her patients as she would to her own family members, always striving to provide the most thorough and attentive care.
